At The Unknown Muscle Massage & Wellness, a skilled group of licensed therapists, working together as a cooperative, are committed to helping individuals achieve overall health and well-being by offering a diverse menu of services. The Unknown Muscle is not only about which muscles hurt in the body and how to treat them, but also about the freedom and strength that is inside each person to experience their best overall health.

Owner Denise Bostdorf offers Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone massage, prenatal massage and was recently certified in oncology massage. Kimberley Robinson specializes in myofacial release, is a Reiki III practitioner, Oneness Deeksha giver and has recently been certified in lymphatic drainage. Penny Testerman integrates massage with Reiki and hot stones to balance the chakras and cleanse the aura. She can also use hypnotherapy and astrology to treat the mind, body and spirit.

Each practitioner believes that being involved in the community is a priority; therefore, the center offers a variety of wellness-related classes throughout the year. Currently, Tai chi, qigong, kids’ yoga and couples massage workshops are on the calendar. For 2013, exciting new wellness classes and specialties, such as nutrition, aromatherapy, infant massage classes and others are on the horizon.
