Om Baby Pregnancy and Parenting CenterOm Baby Hosts Great Cloth Diaper Change Event

Om Baby Pregnancy & Parenting Center will host the Earth Day Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 20. The day will include event booths with natural and green living companies and other family-friendly activities. During the festivities, Om Baby will be the Camp Hill site of The Great Diaper Change at 10:30 a.m. In its third year, with more than 100 sites and counting, The Great Cloth Diaper Change, a project of the nonprofit Real Diaper Association, will attempt to break last year’s Guinness World Record of 8,251 cloth diapers changed simultaneously.

“Each year, billions of disposable diapers enter landfills, where it takes hundreds of years for them to decompose, if ever,” says Heather McNamara, executive director of the Real Diaper Association. “Building off the success of last year’s event with 189 qualifying locations in 11 countries, we hope to show the entire world that cloth diapers are a real option for today’s modern families, particularly catching the eye of expecting and new parents who may be seeking more planet-friendly and affordable alternatives to disposable diapers.”

Location: 2201 Rear Market St., Camp Hill. For more information, call 717-761-4975 or visit OmBabyCenter.com.
