Bartell Healthcare Center Offers Free Spinal Screenings

May is spinal health month. According to the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), more than 6 million people suffer from scoliosis; more than 1 million are adolescents, ages 8 through 13. Both the ACA and the International Society on Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment endorse conservative care for the reduction of spine curvatures resulting in scoliosis.

Through the months of May and June, Dr. Michael J. Bartell, director of chiropractic at the Bartell Healthcare Center, is offering a complimentary individual scoliosis evaluation to determine spine health relative to curvature and scoliosis.

For 36 years, Bartell has practiced in the areas of spinal and sports care, biofeedback, spinal manipulation, flexion/distraction and others. He utilizes a multidisciplinary, noninvasive approach to treat scoliosis—one without the braces, rods and surgical interventions of allopathic medicine.

Location: 1001 S. Market St., Ste. A, Mechanicsburg. For more information or to schedule a spinal screening, call 717-697-8030 or visit Bartell-Healthcare.com.
