New Practitioner Offers Acupuncture at Capstone Medical Associates

Douglas Weinstein

J. Douglas Weinstein, licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese medicine in Pennsylvania, is now accepting appointments at Capstone Medical Associates, in Palmyra. Practicing since 2008, Weinstein works in conjunction with Western-trained medical doctors to provide the best all-around care to patients.

Weinstein has enjoyed the benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine as a patient for more than 10 years. In 2001, he began acupuncture treatments, experiencing a drastic improvement in his seasonal allergies and asthma, along with a reduction in stress levels. Since then, he has used acupuncture to maintain his health and well-being.

Weinstein graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in public and community health. In 2005, he began his career in the integrative health field, studying acupuncture at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly the Tai Sophia Institute), earning his master’s degree in acupuncture in 2008. He furthered his studies in Chinese medicine, completing a three-year postgraduate program in Chinese herbal medicine.
