The Center for Holistic Medicine has moved to a new location at 9 Brookwood Avenue, in Carlisle. Katarzyna Ferraro, M.D., FACEP, ABIHM, known as “Dr. Kathy” by her clients, provides functional medicine evaluations, that dive into the root cause of illnesses, looking for nutritional, genetic, environmental or infectious causes of chronic illnesses. 

The center works on lifestyle modifications such as nutrition, exercise and movement, traditional medicines and supplements, as well as environmental changes to help improve acute and chronic problems. They have a special interest in biomedical treatments for autism spectrum disorders, and have completed training from the Autism Research Institute.

Ferraro is trained and licensed in the practice of medical acupuncture and has 10 years of experience in the field of emergency medicine. She is doubly board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is also certified by the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine.
