Gluten-Free Bread Baking Class at Palmyra Real Food Emporium

The Palmyra Real Food Emporium will host a Gluten-Free Bread Baking class presented by Sue Maurer, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., February 22. Maurer has been gluten-free for more than 10 years and recently presented a similar program for the Lebanon County Master Gardeners.
Participants will learn about a variety of gluten-free ingredients, including their uses and storage procedures. Samples of yeast and non-yeast gluten-free breads will be provided; including breads made from “scratch”, as well as from packaged mixes. Participants will also receive recipes and a list of selected references. Ingredients discussed will be available for purchase at the Emporium.
