Nutritional Supplement Offers Hope for Mood Disorder Sufferers

Donna Rau, owner of Hope For My Life and independent distributor of EMPowerplusQ96, knows firsthand how difficult it is to manage a mood disorder. For 20 years, she struggled with ADHD, depression, anxiety and stress, as well as side effects of prescribed psychotropic medications due to misdiagnosed bipolar disorder. When she discovered EMPowerplusQ96, an all natural supplement comprised of a proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants, her life went from “coping to survive” to “living life to the fullest”.

She describes Q96 as food for the brain, noting that numerous clinical studies on the product have shown that people with mood disorders seem to need more of certain vitamins and trace minerals. Q96 works by giving the brain an optimized balance of those on a regular basis. The hypothesis is that the nutrients go to the root cause of imbalances, rather than just treating the symptoms. After taking Q96, she was able to wean off her medications, but strongly advises anyone from doing so without consulting a doctor and seeking support throughout the process.

Q Sciences, the makers of the supplement, report that EMPowerplusQ96 is the most studied micronutrient in the world. To date, 25 medical journals have been published over the past decade proving the effectiveness of the Q96 formulation. Forty-four independent researchers and 15 universities, including Harvard, have spent more than $25 million in these studies. The Canadian government has reviewed EMPowerplus Q96 and issued the product two natural product numbers and site licenses.

“This product really helps people feel better and gives families hope after struggling with the many issues associated with mood disorders,” says Rau. She is particularly interested in getting kids off medication and providing Q96 to veterans that are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). “I want to help the veterans who have sacrificed for my freedom,” she says. The company has recently introduced The Green Project, a program in which people can donate bottles to soldiers that have returned home and are struggling with PTSD.

Case studies have been published on the affects EMPowerplus Q96 has on the following health challenges: ADD/ADHD, autism, anxiety and panic disorder, obsessive/compulsive disorder, depression, bipolar, fibromyalgia, stress, trauma, clarity of mind, brain trauma and mental handicaps. Currently they are researching the effects it may have on moderate cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s. Rau reports that athletes have found Q96 to increase focus and endurance and balance out moods. She says clients describe feeling more energetic throughout the day, but with a calmness that isn’t associated with caffeine use. The brain fog is lifted and balance is restored.
