Conceived and created by Rickie Freedman, Reiki master/teacher, PT, Reiki by Rickie ~ ReikiSpace & Learning Place celebrated its first anniversary on April 1. “The name ReikiSpace is based upon the peaceful, serene and deeply relaxed feeling experienced after a Reiki session,” says Freedman.

ReikiSpace features two beautiful healing rooms: Freedman shares her sessions in the Butterfly Room, whereas the Dragonfly Room is reserved specifically for Reiki practitioners trained by Freedman, allowing them a place to showcase their skills.

There are currently 15 Reiki by Rickie practitioners, all trained by Freedman, two of which are also participating in Freedman's Mentorship Program. Fulfilling the ReikiSpace Internship Program is Mackenzie Klinger, currently a senior honors student at Hershey High School that desires to blend Reiki with her developing career in fine arts.

In addition to their standard Reiki offerings, ReikiSpace also features REIKIssage with Alicia Mishinski, a Reiki practitioner and licensed massage therapist, plus a blended session of Reiki and reflexology known as "a little R&R", with Trish Zook, a Reiki master and reflexologist.

The Learning Place is the classroom where both workshops and Reiki classes of all levels are offered, including Reiki for Healthcare Professionals and ReikiKids. Continuing education credits are also available for massage therapists.

Workshops include Power of a Positive Attitude ~ Making the CHOICE to Be Happy, Choosing Peace in Challenging Times, Stress Management and Reiki, Gratitude Workshop and Ceremony, Indian Head Massage, Heart Centered Marketing and more.

“Monthly ReikiShares, meditation evenings, the Reiki Lovers MeetUp Group and others all provide both free and love donation opportunities to gather and share love and positive support,” explains Freedman. “The Mission of ReikiSpace & Learning Place is to share Reiki with our hands, our hearts and our words in a grounded and relatable way that always keeps the priorities of service and compassion first. Our world needs all the light, love and positive energy we can possibly share!”
