Farmers on Walnut, a vibrant market that hosts only vendors selling farm-fresh foods grown within a 50-mile radius of Central Pennsylvania on Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. in Camp Hill, is offering a cooking demonstration by nutrition and culinary coach Tanya McClausland on July 24.
With a knowledge and passion for pure and healthy food, McClausland’s recipes are available from vendors and from the information booth. As the proprietor of Home Cooked Healing, she teaches clients to cook simple, fun meals that are delicious and nourishing and is an enthusiastic supporter of farm fresh local foods.
The market sells a wide variety of local and pure foods from vendors that include Dancing Creek Farm, Earth Spring CSA, Everblossom Farm, Lark Rise Farm, Piney Mountain Orchard, Rex Farms Orchard, Smithfield Farm, Sunset Valley and Three Springs Fruit Farm. Enjoy entertainment and an activity for the kids. The market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. each Thursday through October 23.
