Dr. Linda T. Stern has been a doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) since 1987 and holds a Master of Science degree in Animal Nutrition. She also is certified in veterinary acupuncture and trained in food therapy (using food as medicine), veterinary orthopedic manipulation and cold laser therapy (Erchonia laser).

She opened the Avian & Feline Hospital in 1994 and changed the name to Healing Creatures Animal Hospital this past year. Stern has always practiced integrative holistic medicine, starting with birds, cats, small mammals reptiles and exotic pets, but has since expanded her scope.

Few veterinarians work holistically on their patients, which is less toxic to their system. Stern also provides traditional medicine and surgery if needed. Her goal is to provide the best health care using integrative medicine, which includes whole food supplements, Chinese herbs, American herbs, homeopathy, VOM, acupuncture, cold laser therapy and food therapy when needed.
