Lavender Festival at Hope Hill Lavender Farm

Hope Hill Lavender Farm will hold the third annual outdoor Lavender Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 20, in Pottsville, with local artists, vendors, musical entertainment and food. Beer and wine samplings will also be available. There will also be talks about lavender and bees, and master gardeners and Hawk Mt. Sanctuary will make presentations. The rain date is June 27.

Co-owner with husband, Troy, Wendy Jochems states, “Our lavender festival is unique in that it showcases local artists in addition to what the lavender farm has to offer. On the day of the festival, we offer complimentary lavender refreshments for sampling.”

Originally a Christmas tree farm, Hope Hill Lavender Farm has been an operating lavender farm since 2011, when lavender was chosen as a more sustainable option for the land.
