Elaine Torrance-Gingrich, owner of Avalonian Moon, believes that we can learn a lot about ourselves by exploring our relationship to Carl Jung’s famed 12 archetypes and that life is meant to be enjoyed. “We are supposed to be having fun in our lives; we need to play more,” she affirms. “But many of us aren’t playing more because we feel stuck.” To change that, Gingrich designed The Goddess Life Method, a six-step methodology to help her clients get unstuck, connect with their true selves and bring joy back into their lives.

The first step is Discovering the Goddess Within. “We start off by finding out what makes you unique,” says Gingrich. “Here’s where we discover our Core Energies. Look at the archetypes you resonate the most with; that tells a lot about you. The one you resonate the least with also tells you a lot about yourself.”

The Creating the Goddess Vision step creates clarity about the vision her clients hold in the five main areas of their life: physical, spiritual, financial, professional and relational. The Accept and Appreciating Your Goddess Gifts step teaches clients to value where they are and make peace with where they’ve been.

In the Nurturing the Goddess Within step, Torrance-Gingrich teaches her clients to nurture and care for themselves. “Women are taught to think of others first, but then resentment can build up and we take on a victim mentality,” she explains.

Another step, Viewing Your Life Through Goddess Eyes, teaches that we can choose to see life events as disasters or opportunities. “Make a choice to see it as an opportunity,” says Gingrich. “There is always a gift.”

Perhaps the most important step, she says, is Live the Goddess Life and Have Fun. “Give yourself permission to enjoy your life.
