Madeira Chiropractic Offers Free Screenings

September is Vertebral Subluxation Awareness Month in Pennsylvania, and Madeira Chiropractic, in Camp Hill, is offering free spinal screenings to the public from September 22 to 29. The screening includes a posture analysis, spinal infrared nerve system scan, bilateral weight balance and chiropractic evaluation with Julie Madeira Niedwick, DC, DICCP.

Vertebral subluxation complex (VSC) is a common, but potentially health-threatening condition that causes disease in the body. It is a misalignment of one or more vertebra or the pelvis and can affect proper nerve supply from the brain to the body. VSC may or may not cause symptoms, but has been connected to health issues such as headaches, migraines, ear infections, back pain, spinal decay, asthma and many other conditions.
