Spirit of Oneness Wellness Expo in Harrisburg

Sep 02, 2015 11:44AM

The fifth annual Spirit of Oneness Holistic Expo, presented by Alta View Wellness Center, will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., October 3, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 4, at Zembo Shrine, in Harrisburg. Spirit of Oneness Holistic Expo gathers holistic practitioners, spiritual advisors, healers, energy workers, psychics, artisans and musicians from a variety of holistic and metaphysical practices under one roof to help bring mind, body and spirit into alignment.

With healthy food options, peaceful music, dancers and workshops from talented practitioners throughout the weekend, Spirit of Oneness is a wonderful way to gather friends and practitioners. “My vision for the 2015 Expo is to see people find new ways to improve their lives by being exposed to new holistic modalities that will empower them,” says Sharon Muzio, the event’s creator and organizer. “People can experience a healing modality or psychic reading that has always interested them or find out about new modalities and practitioners in our area. It's an experience, not just an event.”

Bountiful Feast, in Ephrata, will be offering food for sale out of their gourmet lunch truck. Native American flutist Davis Rose and acoustic guitarist Russell Ferrera will be playing throughout the weekend. Henna artist Ruchi will be offering henna tattoos. Workshops provide information about Reiki, energy work, crystal healing, hospice care, weight loss, essential oils, illness prevention and more. Sutliff Volkswagon will be on-site for test drives of their cars.

There will also be free, experiential workshops as part of the spirit offerings that give participants an opportunity to experience a new modality or enjoy a favorite, including a drumming circle, journey dance, sound meditation and a variety of yoga classes.

Handcrafted items, essential oils, soaps and jewelry are available for purchase. Angel card readers, tarot readers, shamanic practitioners, reflexologists, massage experts, chiropractors, nutritionists, hospice caregivers, Reiki practitioners, auric photographers, hypnotherapists, DNA activators, sacred geometers are all ready for consultation. Healthy breakfast and lunch choices are served, including gluten-free options.
