Licensed Massage Therapist Rachel Benbow was awarded the prestigious national Gold Award Grand Prize for the Massage Therapy Foundation annual Student Case Report Contest for Effect of Massage Therapy on the Proprioceptive System of an Autistic Child: a Case Report. Benbow is also a CranioSacral therapist and Reiki master.

The Massage Therapy Foundation has held the contest annually since 2006 to provide an opportunity for massage and bodywork practitioners and students to develop research skills and enhance their ability to provide evidence-informed massage to the public.
