Inspired by the documentary film PlantPure Nation, which highlights the work of nutritional scientist and author T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., South Central Pennsylvania residents are organizing to promote the benefits of a plant-based diet. The grassroots PlantPure Pods Program offers a comprehensive suite of support services through a network of individuals.

Pods use the 10-day Jumpstart program featured in the film, community-building online tools and events and a video-based content stream to achieve its goals, explains Susan Sweigert, coordinator of the local Pods program.

“We are committed to improving the health and wellness of residents in the region,” says Sweigert. “We will offer Pods in the Greater Harrisburg area and support other Pods forming throughout South Central PA.”
