In observance of National Wellness Week from September 11 through 17, the Life Esteem Holistic Health/Wellness Center will conduct a free holistic wellness expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., September 16, at the Giant Food Community Center, exploring the eight dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, social, intellectual, occupational, financial, environmental and spiritual. The keynote speaker will be Cheryl Dondero, director of Dauphin County Drug and Alcohol Services,
President Patricia L. Gadsden, a graduate of D.C. Teachers College, co-hosts a weekly television program, Life Esteem, focusing on community issues, with her husband Nathaniel at 6:30 a.m. Sundays on WHP-TV 21.
“Life Esteem believes promoting balance in all aspects of mind, body and spirit is important more than ever,” Says Gadsden. “A holistic lifestyle makes us all feel complete and allowing us to live in balance in all areas of our life.”
