Sep 30, 2016 11:20AM
October is National ADHD Awareness Month, and ADHD/life coach Lynn Shumaker, MSED, AAC, has completed the first two modules of the ADD Coach Academy Family Coach Training Program, gaining valuable skills for working with families. With these skills, entire families can learn strategies and gain knowledge about ADHD dynamics and overall family communication and interaction can improve.
She will be interviewed from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. October 16, on The Garden Show on radio stations WIOO AM 1000, WEEO AM 1480, 97.9 and 93.9 FM, and on the web at WIOO.com.
Shumaker says, “As a coach, I uncover the strengths of my clients and with them, develop a plan that supports their best interest to make the advances they desire in life. I observe many people looking for help and hear people share their frustrations during the support groups that I lead through the Attention Deficit Disorder Association.”
