The holidays are almost here and we’ll be visiting family and friends, baking cookies and buying heartfelt gifts for those we love, so find a little time to attend the Cumberland County Women’s Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., November 12, at the Carlisle Expo Center. They will have a wide range of activities occurring throughout the day for shoppers.

Many local businesses from the area will be offering products and services that touch just about every facet of a woman’s life—health and wellness, nutrition, fitness, travel, home improvements, finances, entertainment and more—and they are eager to meet you.

Some highlights of the Women’s Expo include Nick at Nite’s winner of the Funniest Mom in America contest, Rubi Nicholas; an exciting fashion show by Sheila Frank featuring her own designs; cake decorating by Eric Bell, from Carlisle Bakery; container gardening by Stauffers of Kissel Hill; and wine sampling by Castlerigg Wine Shop and Olivero’s Vineyard.
