Peter Scheer, a nationally certified mental health counselor and HealthRhythms facilitator trained in basic and adolescent protocols, will present a HealthRhythms session, Endings and Life Transitions, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., June 6, at Studio Solomon, in Lemoyne. The program is specifically intended for those going through significant changes in their lives such as loss of a job, a relationship or a loved one. No drumming experience is needed.
"Joyfully making your own rhythms can help participants in reducing stress, developing transcendence, and experiencing connectedness with others going through major life changes,” says Scheer.
HealthRhythms is a group empowerment drumming program that promotes a state of well-being and wholeness through recreational music-making, and can be used for a range of areas of focus.
Cost is $20; drums are available. Location: 310 S. 10th St. (2nd floor, rear), Lemoyne, PA. Preregistration required by Jun. 5 at 717-763-0550 or [email protected]
