Turpaugh Holds Holiday Party, Adds Acupuncture

Andrew Crimmel

Turnpaugh Health and Wellness Center, in Mechanicsburg, will host a Healthy Holidays event from 6 to 8 p.m., December 13. Participants will make beautiful amber bottles of homemade organic essential oil-based household cleaners, two room sprays and two rollerballs for stress and colds. There will be refreshments, music, massages, gifts and discounts.

Turnpaugh has also begun offering acupuncture with Andrew Crimmel to new and existing patients on Tuesdays. He received a Master of Science degree at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and later with Chinese, Japanese and Korean practitioners.

Crimmel specializes in Japanese-style acupuncture, combining Chinese techniques while staying grounded in his knowledge of conventional Western science. He is nationally certified by the NCCAOM to practice both acupuncture and herbal medicine, and was only the third practitioner in Pennsylvania to qualify for licensure in Oriental medicine, enabling him to practice the full spectrum of TCM.

Admission to the party is $25 for materials. Location: 310 Lambs Gap Rd., Mechanicsburg. To RSVP, call 717-795-9566 or email [email protected]. For more information, visit TurnpaughHWC.com.
