Mella Luna Studios is now taking appointments for therapeutic massage by Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist Gina Kurtz, including $10 off the first appointment. She says, “I've been practicing massage since July of 2007 and graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage, York campus. I've worked in a variety of settings, including chiropractic and day spa, developing knowledge of both medical and relaxation modalities along the way. I'm always eager to add new skills to my massage toolbox, and regularly take continuing education courses to better serve my clients.

Kurtz notes that her favorite type of full-body massage to give is therapeutic, saying, “These massages rely heavily on the therapist’s intuition, creating the perfect blend of relaxation and deeper, more focused work. I also enjoy giving deep tissue massages, incorporating trigger point therapy and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretching for pain relief to a specific area of the body, typically neck/shoulders or low back/hips.
