Anxiety Workshop in Dillburg

Dillsburg Yoga will host workshop, Managing Anxiety Holistically: An Integrated Approach, from noon to 2:30 p.m., August 25. Presenters include Lindsay Pietropola, functional nutrition educator and physical therapist; Beth Baublitz, ARCB reflexologist; and Emily Gilmore, certified yoga instructor.
Participants will learn to manage anxiety and stress holistically through an integrated approach, using yoga, functional nutrition and reflexology. The workshop includes guided gentle yoga session and meditation for anxiety, discussion on nutrition specifically for preventing and managing anxiety, reflexology, tea, healthy snacks and a stress relief aromatherapy roll-on to take home.
Owner Emily Gilmore says, “Throughout this workshop, you will be guided through breathing techniques to encourage relaxation, yoga asana (posture practice) to foster quieting of the body and mind, and also led through a calming meditation practice. All of these techniques are tools which can be incorporated into your life on a daily basis to encourage a shift from a busy, anxious mind/body to a more relaxed and peaceful way of being in this world. Yoga teaches us to find harmony in every step on our journey.”
