Study Restorative Yoga at Anahata
Jul 29, 2018 08:19PM
Anahata Yoga and Mindful Movement is offering a 15-hour Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with internationally recognized teacher Angela Boltz on September 15 and 16. It is intended for yoga teachers and wellness professionals wishing to acquire new tools to add to their healing repertoire, as well experienced yoga students looking to broaden their knowledge base.
Owner Lena Hershey says, “Unlike more active styles of yoga, restorative yoga prioritizes stillness and support, incorporating props such as yoga blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps to bring the whole body into a deeply relaxed state. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of this receptive, yet powerful, practice and highlights how this technique can be utilized in both private and group sessions.”
The program will add a new dimension of awareness to any personal practice, provide a fresh lens by which to view the relaxation process and give yoga teachers a professional edge by becoming specialized in this emerging field of mind-body wellness.
Boltz is an internationally recognized yoga teacher, wellness workshop and retreat facilitator, yoga teacher trainer and creator of Living Flow Yoga.
