The Benefits of Frankincense
Nov 25, 2018 07:49PM ● By Jen & Jeff Frey
A cherished ancient oil used for sacred practices, as a perfume and in skin salves, frankincense is highly versatile in use and benefits for modern day. The chemical properties of frankincense may promote cellular health and aid in rejuvenating the skin. It can be applied to the skin to reduce the appearance of blemishes or other imperfections. One-to-two drops added in a veggie capsule and taken orally may support healthy cellular function.
The warm, spicy, clean and relaxing scent of frankincense oil promotes added satisfaction, peace and feelings of overall wellness when diffused. During the practice of yoga or meditation, its aroma can help focus intention. Frankincense can be blended with other essential oils to create various diffuser aromas.
