New Community Acupuncture Clinic Available in Harrisburg

Rumi's Wellness Center has added a new, affordable, walk-in community acupuncture treatment clinic, at 2400 Park Drive, in Harrisburg. The clinic will be held from 12:30 to 7 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, beginning July 16. They also offer reflexology, nutrition therapy, reiki and massage. Treatments are performed using recliners clustered in a large, calming space, allowing friends and families to receive treatments side-by-side while fully clothed.
Sue Kauffman, a nationally NCCAOM board-certified licensed acupuncturist from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, says, “A community acupuncture clinic is a low-cost solution to our ailing healthcare system that allows you to receive regular treatments to get better and stay better. Because acupuncture is a process, positive results build upon successive treatments. The more acupuncture you get, the better the outcome.”
Kauffman uses the 5-needle protocol as an adjunct therapy to treat addictions, stress-related illnesses and trauma. She is a certified qigong instructor with postgraduate training in pain management using microcurrent point stimulation therapy, moxa, gua sha and cupping to treat chronic pain, as well as a variety of conditions such as insomnia, digestive issues, headaches and fatigue.
