Coaching to Heal Trauma

Jul 29, 2021 08:22PM ● By Asha Scatchard

Why was I born?  What is my purpose?

These are questions most of us have asked ourselves at one time.  Today we live in the most critical of times for ourselves and the planet.  Never before has change occurred so quickly.  The advent of technology moves so fast that it is difficult to keep up.

Now more than ever I must begin to understand who I am, as well as the world of subtle energy, if I am to make positive changes.  It is time to explore the scars and traumas that entered during early life experiences.

So how does one turn back the hands of time to confront and heal early life trauma?

(1) Desire – I have to want to own my ‘original face’ and that takes work and we each need to do our own work.
(2) I must understand that it is a process and can take years.
(3) For faster results, I need a guide, someone who has traveled the path.
(4) I must be totally honest.
(5) Once I understand myself and the process better, my world expands and I navigate life’s stream with skill and confidence.

At this stage of our life it may be very difficult to go back to our original state as we knew it.

Our life and human existence is a complex playbook and part of our path along this journey is that we must heal ourselves from the past and want to understand who we are and the nature of our reality.

Doing deep personal worth that includes facing and healing earlier life trauma and then learning to accept our true self requires the unwinding of painful histories, beliefs, programming and wounds that have been blocking and walling off the divine spark.

This is the work.

I remember telling my teacher about some challenging life experiences. He listened carefully and said “Why did you create it?”  To this day I can feel the shock and pain of that remark, but as I grew older and learned more, I began to understand the meaning and power of that question.  By having the courage to go through my healing process, I became truly happy and joyful.  I find myself laughing more and able to ride the waves of life with less fear.  I began to experience heaven on earth and entered into my unique life stream, my purpose.

Perhaps the beginning solution for each of us to thrive in today’s world is to practice compassion with the knowing that we are all wounded.
