The fifth annual Rise Gatherings Weekend Getaway will be held from September 30 through October 2 in the Pocono Mountains. Rachel Rubin and Tami Astorino are the co-founders and co-CEOs of Rise Gatherings, a wellness retreat organization that provides women with a safe and brave space to reconnect with themselves, nature and a community of diverse women. Rubin says, “During this weekend-long experience, women are able to immerse themselves in a wide variety of workshops and activities that leave them feeling empowered and inspired.”

 

Women from 15 to their 80s attend the Getaway when they are going through a time of change in their lives and seek the support of others to uplift them and ease their fears. “The themes that we mostly hear that drive women are trouble in their marriage or relationship, wanting to change careers, losing themselves to motherhood and desiring something more out of life as they enter a new chapter,” advises Rubin.

 

The Weekend Getaway is held at a quality camp facility on 400-plus acres, and lodging options with heating range from community cabins shared with others to private lakeside cottages.
