Carlisle Bowenwork Now Offering Facial Reflexology

Colors designate different zones

Carlisle Bowenwork Center for Wholistic Health and Wellness, in Carlisle, is making Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem, a holistic, therapeutic and deeply relaxing technique, available to clients and offering a free session with the purchase of the initial treatment.

Created by Danish reflexologist Lone Sorensen over 30 years of research, training, and practice, Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem is based upon the theory that areas of the face (zones and reflex points) are connected to different parts of the body, and stimulating them restores energy (qi) balance to promote well-being.

It is a non-invasive, individualized and complementary protocol for clients of all ages without any known contraindications. A detailed health history is obtained during the initial visit to individualize the session. Clients remain fully clothed and rest comfortably on either a treatment table or a recliner chair in a private treatment room with soothing music to enhance the relaxation experience. Most clients report feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, with a reduction of muscle tension and a more radiant complexion upon completion of a session.

Cost is $60 per 45-to-60-minute session. Location: 200 S. Spring Garden St., Carlisle, PA. For appointments, call 717-386-8279 or visit
