Many individuals turn to yoga at some point in life, all seeking different results. Whether we are craving a physical or spiritual transformation, the results are often life changing and unexpected. We may choose to live in the past, stuck with no option but to relive events in our head and hearts on a daily basis, leaving us unable to enjoy the present moment.

The muscles elongate, the heart opens and the breath deepens. Yoga can help us start living again and free ourselves from past emotion. It can make us feel more vibrant, agile and connected. Yoga taps into the endocrine system and the nervous system and gets things moving in the right direction.

As for the past, think of it like a book. Pick it up, acknowledge it and look through it, but then close it and put it back on the shelf. Then, use those past emotions as a motivation to keep moving forward and creating transformation.

Yoga is an effective and efficient way to create a healthy recovery. Yoga restores faith in the potential of human rebirth, creating a daily practice of new possibility, opportunity, choices and hope. Yoga is a foundation to build upon, an alternative to dwelling on the past and remaining present for the most beautiful future.
