Hygea Wellness Co. Salt Room & Massage, in Camp Hill, has opened a new wing offering a brand-new salt room with six heated massage chairs and a Himalayan crystal salt infrared sauna. The new salt room has light music playing and dim lighting for those that prefer not to be in a dark setting or who might opt to read during their session.

In order to be fully handicap-accessible, there is no salt on the floor or walls, but clients still receive the full treatment and benefits as when surrounded by the seven tons of Dead Sea salt in the larger salt room.

The Himalayan crystal infrared sauna is a full-body detoxification treatment that can help with weight loss while de-stressing and relaxing the muscles in the body; stress relief and relaxation; lowering blood pressure, anti-aging and skin purification; and cell health, fibromyalgia (chronic pain disorder), pain relief, improved circulation and wound healing.
