Cumberland County Women’s Expo Goes Virtual

Nov 02, 2020 06:28PM ● By Dave Korba
Pandemic-weary women ready to experience a bit of the world again can do so safely and from their own computers at the Cumberland County Women’s Expo, the premier women’s event in central Pennsylvania, from 10 a.m., November 12, until 6 p.m., November 15, online.

Special features of the virtual Cumberland County Women’s Expo include both live and prerecorded entertainment and seminars, as well as contests and door prizes. Like many public events, the Women’s Expo was originally slated to be held as a brick-and-mortar expo this fall, but the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many event producers to shift from in-person to online platforms.

OLP Events invites women of all ages everywhere to shop and learn about products and services for themselves and their families. Guests are encouraged to revisit the Expo multiple times at their convenience. Participating exhibitors will be seeking to make personal connections with the demographic that makes more than 83 percent of all purchasing decisions: women.

Attendees can connect virtually with representatives with products and services to showcase in home improvement, finances, health and wellness, beauty, nutrition, fitness, fashion, retirement living, leisure, entertainment and more.

Donna Anderson, president of OLP Events, says, “With an abundance of optimism, we are excited to make the ninth annual Cumberland County Women’s Expo a virtual event. Our lives have changed dramatically over the past few months and we are looking forward to utilizing the virtual platform to make it possible for our community and businesses to stay connected.”
