Gracefull Heart Creates A Peaceful, Supportive Space

May 27, 2021 02:58PM ● By Gisele M. Siebold

GracefullHeart, owned by Sharon Askey, a healer, teacher and spiritual coach, is celebrating 10 years in business as a peaceful and supportive space to assist in the journey toward wellness of mind, body and spirit. “On the surface, it appears to be a crystal and book store; however, it is so much more than that,” says Askey. “In addition to crystals and books, we have gemstones, jewelry, oracle cards, sage, incense, singing bowls and more. We answer questions about our products and how to use them, and we offer classes and workshops.”

Multiple services are available to help support and maintain wellness. Reiki and Sacred Spirals Healing, a hands-on technique that Askey learned while visiting the ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, in India, are both ancient, gentle forms of energy healing that encourage relaxation and reduce stress. The Indian yoga philosophy considers the balancing of the chakras, known as points of physical and spiritual energy in the human body, to be a component of wellness.

When considering the amount of stress that many people are currently experiencing, Askey suggests, “The Dominus Cervix Stargate meditation sessions can also provide relief from the stressors in our lives, helping to balance and clear the energy field. Aura photography can capture an energetic snapshot, including whether or not our chakras are balanced.”

Askey notes that Gracefull Heart has been the impetus for tremendous personal growth and change. “When I first opened, I was experiencing fear, doubt and insecurity. Launching Gracefull Heart provided an opportunity to begin to acknowledge, own and work with these things that were wreaking havoc in my life in subtle ways. It has helped me to deepen my faith and find my center. Opening the shop and serving the community have brought many blessings, and I am filled with gratitude. “Because of the community’s support, we have begun to outgrow our physical space and have plans to expand later this year or early next year. A larger space will also allow us to offer a greater variety of workshops. We are now in the process of barcoding our products, and later this year we plan to begin online sales,” she says.

“We would not be here without the support of the community. Folks have been very supportive of Gracefull Heart and our offerings, both products and services. Our workshops have been well attended. We are told by many that the space is so inviting and peaceful, and that is what we strive to create—a space for healing,” she enthuses.
