Volunteer Riparian Buffer Planting in Hummelstown

Oct 28, 2021 12:52PM ● By Dave Korba
Penn State Extension and the Penn State Agriculture & Environment Center's Greening the Lower Susquehanna Program are looking for volunteers to help plant tree seedlings from 9 to 11:30 a.m., November 13, at Crestview Manor Park.

Riparian buffers are one of the most cost-effective ways to protect our waterways and keep the water clean. Volunteers should bring gloves, water bottle, shovel and a mallet or hammer (if possible).

Location: 1 Oakshire Dr., Hummelstown. RSVP (required) by Nov. 12 at extension.psu.edu/volunteer-riparian-buffer-planting.
