Cheri Koons, RN, BSN, has joined the expert nutrition team at The Family Wellness Center - 1000 Briarsdale Rd , Harrisburg, PA at Briarsdale Integrative Health Care, bringing the best of Western and Eastern modalities to helping individuals reach their health goals.

 

Koons was one of the first candidates in the U.S. to become a certified vascular nurse. She is also certified as a heart-centered wellness facilitator, a certified integrative mental health professional and certified in integrative nursing, as well as a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau international honor society of nursing.

 

Her areas of specialization include nutritional exam, digestive, cardiovascular, diabetic and brain health conditions, food sensitivities, women’s health issues, detoxification, food addictions and weight management.
