Coping with Anxiety at Dillsburg Yoga

Dillsburg Yoga and yoga teacher Emily
Gilmore will be offering a six-week online Zoom course, Yoga for Anxiety, from
1 to 2:15 p.m. Fridays, beginning April 29. She will lead participants through
a journey of slowing down, tuning in, listening and moving forward with calming
and grounding practices for managing anxiety.
The framework for this course will largely follow the practices of yoga and cognitive behavior therapy from Julie Greiner-Ferris, LICSW, and Manjit Kaur Khalsa, Ed.D. Week 1: Establishing a Daily Practice. Week 2: Working with Anxiety & Panic. Week 3: Working with Worry Week. 4: Finding Your Value Week. 5: Strengthening Communication. Week 6: Developing Radiance.
