Annual Organic Plant Sale in York

Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education 10th annual Plant Sale is will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 7, with a wide variety of organically grown vegetable, herb and flower starts. Newly added this year are grasses, herbaceous perennials, vines, trees and shrubs.

 

The sale will offer plants from the Horn Farm Center and the renting farmers—the Kilgore Family Farm, Betsy’s Flowers and Calyx Native Nursery, as well as local vendors. Most plants are $3.50 each, with all proceeds supporting local, regenerative farming practices and the educational programming of the Horn Farm Center.

 

The nonprofit Horn Farm Center connects soil, food, and people in ways that improve the health and resilience of the community. As a leader in regenerative agriculture, they build community resilience by demonstrating holistic land management practices that provide food along with ecological and economic benefits.
