The Children In Nature Program for ages 6 to 9 from 9 a.m. to noon, June 14, 21 and 28, and July 5, 12 and 19, at Amethyst Retreat center inspires children to explore the outdoors, learn new ways to have fun in nature, practice helpful mindfulness techniques and enjoy healthy eating.͏

 

Facilitators Jennifer Rabenstein, Phyillis Varra, Matthew Kramer and Liz Kurtyka will present a variety of exciting topics, including learning about the garden, building a cob using natural materials, and art and music in nature. Each class includes lessons in nature, mindfulness practices and healthy snacks from the Earth.
