Volunteers Needed for Riverbank Maintenance in York
Volunteers are
needed by the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association from 9 to 11 a.m., June
6, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., June 15, 9 to 11 a.m., June 20, and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.,
June 29, for the Greener Codorus Initiative riverbank maintenance.
The season for weekly maintenance of the vegetation along the Codorus Creek is in full gear. Dates are subject to change due to weather. The program continues through November, so there is plenty of opportunity to get a good workout and help keep the Codorus Creek clean and green.
