Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm of York County has received the $10,000 2022 Pennsylvania Leopold Conservation Award, given in honor of renowned conservationist Aldo Leopold by Sand County Foundation, American Farmland Trust, The Heinz Endowments, Horizon Farm Credit and Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. It recognizes farmers, ranchers and forestland owners that inspire others with their dedication to land, water and wildlife habitat resources in their care.

 

Pennsylvania Farm Bureau President Chris Hoffman says, “The Flinchbaugh family provides us with a comprehensive example of how farmers build upon their environmental stewardship successes.
