Ways to Get Unstuck

Identify the root cause: It is important to identify the cause of the issue by asking ourselves what the problem is and what we are afraid of. By breaking down the issue, we might find that the problem is not as overwhelming as it first seemed. Then we can start taking steps to overcome it.
Seek support: When we’re feeling stuck, it is important to seek support from family, friends, a coach, a therapist or a mentor. Talking to someone impartial and supportive can help us to gain a different perspective on the issue and offer solutions that we might not have thought of.
Take action: Sometimes the best way to get unstuck is to simply take action such as setting small, achievable goals that will help us move forward. By taking action, we begin to build momentum and create a sense of achievement. It is important to remember that progress may be slow, but taking small steps will help overcome the feeling of being stuck.
