H2L Studio Provides a Full Range of Pilates Instruction

The boutique-like H2L Studio helps clients create and maintain a healthy and holistic lifestyle. They offer a variety of classes and levels for yoga, Pilates, barre, cycling (spin) and more. Pilates is perfect for increasing flexibility, while strengthening and lengthening muscles without putting stress on joints. Private and semi-private lessons are performed on various equipment and tailored to goals and abilities. Semi-private lessons are a great way to share the cost and fun with friends.

 

Beginner Pilates is the perfect place to start if new to Pilates or if health concerns exist that need modifications. Emphasis is on fundamentals, proper alignment and technique. The class maintains a slower pace to effectively and safely learn the equipment and the method while gaining core strength and flexibility.

 

With regular Pilates, clients must safely adjust equipment upon cue and have a good understanding of fundamentals and modifications. Each class comprises a choreographed group of exercises that flows from one to the next, increasing challenge and scope. Prior Pilates experience or completion of beginner class is preferred.

 

Advanced Pilates requires understanding of the Pilates method, a developed mind/body core connection and desire for a more challenging class with quicker flow between exercises. It requires knowledge of equipment and ability to make adjustments upon cue. Prior Pilates experience is required for this class.

 

Mat Pilates is a group class without equipment. Using just a mat, body weight and small props, clients are guided through an all-level workout built on a core-focused exercise method performed on a mat, emphasizing strength, flexibility and body awareness through controlled movements and breath. It is a low-impact workout.
