The eighth annual Pennsylvania Tea Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., September 19 and 20 in the gardens of The Rosemary House, in downtown Mechanicsburg. This specialty event features 30 vendors highlighting tea and accessories. It includes tea tastings, lectures throughout the day, a Japanese tea ceremony demonstration, garden tours and more. Attendees will receive a tea sampling cup, a swag bag including a free copy of the latest TeaTime Magazine and have access to both the lecture area and author’s tent.

Event coordinator Susanna Reppert explains, “This tea-centric event celebrates tea for its versatility and benefits in all aspects of life, and provides a great opportunity to expand and enhance your knowledge of tea.” Programs include Colonial Tea Parties, Russian Samovars, Tea Represented in Art and Tea Accoutrements, among others. Several mystery authors will participate event, including Sheryl Ickes and Misty Simon on Friday, and Cathy Wiley and Karen Rose Smith on Saturday.
