Rickie Meryl Freedman, a reiki master/teacher, physical therapist and owner of Reiki by Rickie—Reiki Space & Learning Place, in Harrisburg, will host Reiki Around Our World: Grounding and Self-Care from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on January 18, 2026. The program will be offered both via Zoom and in person at ReikiSpace and will bring together reiki professionals Frans Stiene of the Netherlands and Marleen Duffy of Ireland for a global, interactive discussion on connection, healing and self-care.

Freedman says the gathering promotes “connection and oneness,” inviting participants to join from around the world. “We’ll explore what is similar, what is unique and how we can care for ourselves in challenging times,” she notes, adding that the trio will also speak about working together for greater peace and healing.

The focus of the session is grounding and self-care as the new year begins. The presenters will answer common questions, share personal practices and discuss reiki in a grounded, relatable way. No prior reiki experience is required. Attendees will be able to participate in chanting, breathwork, meditation and a shared self-healing practice.

Registration includes a Zoom link and access to the recording. Limited in-person seating is available at ReikiSpace. Freedman encourages early contact to reserve a spot.
