Organic Remedies Donates $20,000 to Support Breast Cancer Programs in Pennsylvania

During its annual October Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, Carlisle-based Organic Remedies collected in-store donations from patients and contributed a portion of proceeds from select products, resulting in a $20,000 donation to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC). Since 2020, Organic Remedies has raised more than $83,000 for the nonprofit, which supports breast cancer survivors and their families through educational programs, patient advocacy and research funding.

“Breast cancer affects thousands of women and their families in Pennsylvania each year,” says Mark Toigo, CEO of Organic Remedies. “We are proud to support the PBCC in helping women currently battling breast cancer and advancing research toward a cure.”

Jennifer Pensinger, PBCC executive director, adds, “This generous donation will help provide care packages, advocacy, educational programming and research grants for the more than 14,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer in Pennsylvania this year.”
