Hartzell House Renovations Complete as Regional Attractions Open
Hartzell House Bed & Breakfast, in Addison, has completed renovations ahead of the Laurel Highlands spring tourism season. Owners Melissa and Robert Angelini recently finished updates designed to enhance guest comfort while preserving the historic character of the restored Victorian home.
The inn is known for its welcoming atmosphere, locally sourced breakfasts and vintage-inspired details. The recent improvements include refreshed guest spaces and updates to common areas intended to elevate the overall experience for visitors.
“Our goal is always to create a space where people can truly relax and feel cared for,” says Melissa Angelini. “These updates allow us to continue improving the experience for our guests while honoring the character and warmth of the home.”
Spring marks the return of increased regional activity throughout the Laurel Highlands. Tours at Fallingwater—Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic architectural masterpiece—reopened last month following seasonal renovations, signaling the start of travel season at one of the area’s most recognized attractions. Guests staying at Hartzell House can enjoy nearby outdoor recreation, scenic drives and cultural destinations across Somerset County.
In addition to overnight stays, Hartzell House occasionally hosts small gatherings and retreat experiences, offering a setting where guests can slow down, reconnect and enjoy the restorative pace of the Laurel Highlands.
