Natural Awakenings South Central Pennsylvania

The Art of Monday Morning at Dragonfly Sangha

The Rev. Mike Travisano, a fully ordained (Osho) member of the Dragonfly Sangha, a modern Buddhist community in south-central Pennsylvania since 1996 (formerly the Blue Mountain Lotus Society), is offering free weekly meditation services every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Mount Calvary Episcopal Church. Founded in 1996, The Dragonfly Sangha is a contemporary community of oneness in the legacy of the Buddha.

Each service includes a brief Buddhist liturgy, a talk based on the teachings of the Buddha, an opportunity for participants to offer incense and prayers, and a period of meditation. They are open to people of all backgrounds and traditions, with no meditation experience necessary. The service provides an opportunity to find peace amid the stress of our lives and the world, and to reconnect with the aspects within each of us that are most meaningful, such as love, kindness, compassion and joy.

Admission is free. Location: the downstairs undercroft at 125 N. 25th St., Camp Hill. For more information, call 717-999-4400, email [email protected] or visit TheArtOfMondayMorning.com/monday-meditation.
