York Hosts Harvest Vegfest

Sponsored by Animal Advocates of South Central PA, the second annual Harvest Vegfest, held September 21 at Cousler Park, in York, is a free, 100 percent vegan and zero waste, community-centered festival focusing on healthy, sustainable and compassionate living. The festival will highlight local produce, nonprofits, artisans and businesses. Companion animals are welcome on leashes.

There will be performances by award-winning songwriter Cyndi Washburn, Brandi & the Bottomshelf and Shamboogi, cooking demonstrations, a presentation by Jake Singer, “the vegan manly man”, a pie-eating contest and a vegan team panel.
